Expressive materials, subtle contrast, astounding effect: the solid-looking oak wood tabletop almost floats on two solid t-shaped glass pedestals. Designed by Francisco Cortina.
Glass and wood are surrounded by a hand-forged stainless steel band. The designer Francisco Cortina brought the unique Schotten & Hansen surface closer to our fingertips. The grain of naturally aged wood, marked by ridges and hollows, can be clearly felt.
“With the Milano Table we wanted to bring the amazing Schotten & Hansen surface closer to you. The handcrafted end-grain detailing and hammered stainless steel, together with the floating glass base, give it a sense of solidity and lightness.“
The end grain surfaces on the front edges give the tabletop a solid appearance. However, behind this front lies a multilayer construction, which makes it dimensionally stable. In the data sheet you will find comprehensive information on the three different designs of this table.
